Surgical Notes Releases Application to Improve Accounts Receivable

Dallas-based Surgical Notes, an ambulatory surgery center transcription and coding provider, has developed an internal coding application for its clients that aims to reduce accounts receivable days and eliminate data entry errors.

The application will review and verify CPT and ICD-9 codes to improve efficiency and coding turnaround, according to the release. Clients currently using the new system have seen up to a seven-day recovery in A/R.
