1. Sonoma Valley and contracted surgeons will provide elective surgeries for companies located in Northern California, Northern Nevada and Southern Oregon under the agreement.
2. Services include urology, gynecology, general surgery and orthopedics including total joint replacements.
3. The hospital will use EmployerDirect’s SurgeryPlus members, a supplemental surgical benefit for self-insured employers that directs patients to pre-qualified, high quality providers and facilities across the United States.
4. SurgeryPlus covers more than 130 procedures with pre-negotiated bundled rates to consolidate costs for each episode of care. The company has dedicated care coordinators to assist members with scheduling procedures, selecting providers, transferring medical records and coordinating other logistics for care.
5. Sonoma Valley Hospital is a 75-bed, full service acute care district hospital with an emergency room and surgery center.
