Sharp Healthcare Chooses 3M System to Improve Coding, Billing

Sharp Healthcare in San Diego, Calif., has selected 3M 360 Encompass System to automate its medical records coding, clinical documentation and performance monitoring at all facilities, according to 4-Traders.

Sharp hopes the new system integrated into its existing electronic medical record will achieve greater coding productivity and documentation, more accurate reimbursement and improve patient care.
