Nevada medical center selects new virtual assistant solution — 5 things to know

Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nev. selected Vincari’s Lightspeed Valet to provide its surgeons with an ICD-10 virtual assistant solution.

Here are five things to know:

1. Vincari is a software development company located in Birmingham, Ala., that offers its services to hospitals, surgery centers and physicians.

2. Vincari’s Lightspeed Valet is the only ICD-10 virtual assistant designed by surgeons for surgeons to complete operative reports with 100 percent Joint Commission compliance and ICD-10 specific language.

3. Over 85 percent of physicians complete the majority of their cases in Lightspeed Valet, and Saint Mary’s sees 99 percent of its procedural reports completed within 24 hours.

4. The new technology remembers physician references and stores commonly used diagnoses, procedures and descriptions while prompting surgeons to document all ICD-10 specific details.

5. It also integrates seamlessly into existing EMRs and has been extremely well-received.
