Most consumers are satisfied with their health plans — 5 findings

The Kaiser Family Foundation poll found most consumers are satisfied with their health plans, according to Health Hews Florida.

Here are five findings:

1. The poll found 71 percent of insured adults younger than 65 considered the healthcare service they receive to be "excellent" or "good."

2. Most of these adults (61 percent) said their insurance plan was "excellent" or "good," considering its cost.

3. Most insured adults younger than 65 (54 percent) reported being "very satisfied" with their selection of physicians.

4. An additional 34 percent reported being "somewhat satisfied," and 12 percent said they had to switch physicians because their insurance plan did not cover the physician.

5. Forty-eight percent on uninsured respondents reported their healthcare services were "fair" or "poor."
