By now, practices should have completely identified their resources, created a project team, assessed effects, created a project plan and secured a budget. They should also have informed staff and contacted vendors and payers.
Practices should currently be in the process of testing. Testing should include:
• Using high-dollar, high volume, high-risk scenarios to produce test claims
• Lines of communication to fix any breakdowns now
• End-to-end testing with payers
