Healthcare price transparency bill introduced in New Mexico

Senate Bill 474, which would establish an online healthcare price transparency tool, has been introduced in New Mexico, according to an Albuquerque Journal report.

The bill is co-sponsored by Senators Gerald Ortiz y Pino (D) and Sander Rue (R). In addition to price, the proposed online resource would make quality information, such as avoidable errors and readmission rates available to the public.
