Georgia’s largest payer to stay in ACA exchange — for now

A Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia spokesperson said the payer plans to offer plans in the state’s exchange but these plans may change based on negotiations between the payer and the state, according to AJC.com.

Here’s what you should note:

1. The company has not released its proposed 2018 rates, and will not give those figures until June.

2. Without BCBS of Georgia, Georgia will have no other payer in the exchange.

3. BCBS of Georgia currently serves all of the state’s 159 counties.
