Three details:
1. Penn State Health became an in-network, preferred provider for Geisinger Health Plan’s 550,000 members in Pennsylvania, effective Sept. 18.
2. Penn State Health jointly operates multiple healthcare facilities across Pennsylvania, including Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center, Hershey Endoscopy Center and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
3. Geisinger Health Plan’s provider network includes more than 29,000 primary care and specialty physicians, 120 hospitals, and 132 urgent and convenient care locations.
