Three quick facts:
1. Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Boca Raton Hospital Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Centers are now out of network for UnitedHealthcare’s commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid benefit plans. Out-of-state, Neighborhood Health and Oxford plans are also out of network.
2. The contract termination does not affect UnitedHealthcare’s physician agreements; it only applies to the hospital agreement.
3. Negotiations are ongoing. The two entities have been unable to reach an agreement since talks began about a month ago.
