An additional sustainable growth rate patch could come with an amendment derailing the Oct. 1, 2015 implementation. The current Congress is under pressure to pass a resolution on a Departments of Labor-Health and Human Services-Education bill that expires Dec. 11, according to the report. AHIMA’s advocacy team believes there is a possibility an ICD-10 delay could be added as an amendment to the bill.
