Question: If you had to grade CMS’ ASC policy in the last five years, what would it be and why?

Tara Quinton: I would give them a “D-.” ASCs are such a great environment for so many cases, and the reimbursement should be the same for ASCs as it is for hospitals for the same procedures. This could be a huge cost savings for patients and the federal government
