California’s DWC Seeks Comments on Revisions to ASC and HOPD Fee Schedule Regulations

California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation is seeking comments on drafts of revisions to the ASC and HOPD fee schedule regulations, including a proposed modification of the multiplier for payment for services in ASCs, according to WorkersCompensation.com and the DWC.

DWC is proposing a revision to ASC fee schedule by modifying the multiplier for facility fees to 100 percent of the Medicare outpatient fee schedule or a 102 percent multiplier that includes an extra reimbursement of 2 percent for high cost outlier cases, according to the WorkersCompensation.com summary.

 

Comments will be accepted until Aug. 24 should be sent to dwcforums@dir.ca.gov.
