•    Nursing staff: New pre-authorization formats and procedures may be necessary.

•    Providers: ICD-10 requires increased specificity in physician documentation.

•    Lab: The lab may also require increased specificity.

•    Coding and billing: Coders need to learn a larger code set and billers need to understand new payer policies under ICD-10.

•    Managers: Managers will be responsible for overseeing ICD-10 implementation over all departments.
