Here are five statistics:
1. Between 2013 and 2014, the uninsured rate fell 2.9 percent.
2. In 2014, 89.6 percent of Americans had health insurance coverage.
3. More people had private health insurance (66 percent) than government coverage (36.5 percent) in 2014.
4. Every state and Washington, D.C., had a decline in their uninsured rate in 2014.
5. Direct-purchase health insurance and Medicaid exhibited the largest changes in coverage rates from 2013 to 2014, with direct-purchasing increasing 3.2 percent.
