3 Things to Know About Vendors & the Switch to ICD-10

As the ICD-10 implementation approaches, physician practices have been preparing, part of which involves collaborating with healthcare IT vendors. Here are three things to know about where vendors stand with ICD-10, according to a Healthcare Finance News report.

•    More than 33 percent of vendors say their ICD-10 products are ready now
•    Approximately 40 percent say the products will be ready in 2014
•    40 percent of vendors are not considering external ICD-10 testing until after July 1, 2014.
