Here are the top 10 states for HMO enrollment, as of January 2016, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The data represents total HMO enrollment for all licensed providers in the state. The data doesn’t include HMO enrollees from individual market place or SHOP.

1. California: 21.4 million
2. New York: 6.6 million
3. Florida: $5.9 million
4. Texas: 5.3 million
5. Pennsylvania: 3.7 million
6. Michigan: $3.6 million
7. Ohio: 3.4 million
8. Illinois: 2.7 million
9. Georgia: 2.3 million
10. Massachusetts: 2.2 million
