Wendi Roberts becomes The Joint Commission’s executive director of certified programs

The Joint Commission appointed Wendi J. Roberts, RN, BA, MS, CLNC, TNS, the executive director of certified programs.

“Wendi Roberts’ strong clinical background and experience have prepared her well to lead The Joint Commission Certification programs,” said executive vice president, division of business development, government and external relations for The Joint Commission. “Her compassion for improving patient care makes Wendi ideally suited for this leadership position.”

Ms. Roberts has served as the field director for The Joint Commission’s hospital accreditation and disease-specific care certified programs. She also has experience developing new certification programs for The Joint Commission and helped with the Acute Stroke Ready Hospitals, Hone Care for Advanced Heart Failure and Sepsis.
