AAAHC accredits 3 outpatient centers

Three outpatient surgery centers received accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

All three facilities are affiliated with AmSurg and underwent the surveys in February. The three facilities are:

1. Boozman-Hof Eye Surgery and Laser Center in Rogers, Ark.

2. Kingston (Pa.) Surgery Center, which includes cataract surgery, implantable contact lenses, YAG laser procedure and trabeculectomy. There are eight physicians affiliated with the center.

3. Waco (Texas) Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center, which includes colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy. There are seven physicians affiliated with the center.
