Vail Valley Surgery Center receives AAAHC accreditation

Vail Valley Surgery Center, with locations in Vail and Edwards, Colorado, received accreditation at the end of 2014, according to an AAAHC newsletter.

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited the Vail Valley Surgery Center-Edwards and Vail Valley Surgery Center-Vail at the end of last year. The multispecialty ambulatory surgery center is a joint venture between Vail Valley Medical Center and around 25 physician investors.

The ASC opened in 2002 and includes physicians from The Steadman Clinic.
