HFAP Cleared to Continuing Accrediting Hospitals Through 2019

 
The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program has been approved by CMS to continue accrediting acute-care hospitals participating in Medicare or Medicaid.

After reviewing HFAP’s hospital accreditation program, CMS renewed the organization’s deeming authority until Sept. 25, 2019.
