The Joint Commission leader to know: Mark Pelletier

Mark Pelletier, RN, is The Joint Commission’s COO for accreditation and certification operations.

In the position, Mr. Pelletier leads The Joint Commission’s accreditation and certification processes. He’s also responsible for policy development, surveyor education and accreditation process refinement.

Before his current tenure, Mr. Pelletier served as the hospital accreditation program’s executive director. He was also responsible for business development in several areas.

He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Chicago-based DePaul University.
