DNV Healthcare gave the hospital its DNV Orthopaedic Center of Excellence designation for the entire orthopedics department after it earned an additional designation for hip and knee replacement.
DNV awards the designation once a hospital earns three separate specialty-based designations. The certification recognizes that the hospital meets or exceeds standards around orthopedic care.
