Sawtooth Surgery Center earns accreditation: 4 things to know

Sawtooth Surgery Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, earned accreditation.

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted Sawtooth Surgery Center accreditation after a successful survey. Here are four things to know about the ASC:

1. Sawtooth Surgery Center includes gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, ENT, plastic surgery and sinus health procedures.

2. The center includes eight physicians focused on orthopedics, one gastroenterologist and nine ophthalmologists. There are 35 physicians all together.

3. The surgery center is affiliated with AmSurg.

4. The center accepts several insurances, including Aetna, Blue Cross and Cigna as well as Medicaid, Medicare and TriCare.
