The Illinois Department of Public Health has issued several proposed changes for hospital licensing, including the addition of a 72-hour deadline for signing telephone orders.

The New Jersey Legislature has approved a bill that would require licensing for one-operating room surgery centers, according to a NJ Spotlight report.
