ASC Accreditation, Licensure & Medicare Certification

Historically, provider credentialing has been slow to evolve. But technology is shifting credentialing from an arduous, manual process to one that is automated, streamlined and more efficient.

Minot, N.D.-based Northwest Dakota Surgery Center has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute has earned accreditation from the American College of Cardiology, the Adult Congenital Heart Association and The Joint Commission, South Florida Hospital News reported Dec. 16. 

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care presented the 2024 Bernard A. Kershner Innovations in Quality Improvement Awards at the organization's recent Achieving Accreditation conference.

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care has been approved as a national accreditation organization for ASCs by CMS. 

CMS has renewed its approval for The Joint Commissions' ASC accreditation program. 

The Lewisburg, Pa.-based Evangelical Ambulatory Surgical Center, located on the campus of WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, has been re-accredited by the  Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, according to a July 23 report from The Standard-Journal.

Patient experience scores at ASCS hit a five-year high in 2023, according to a June 26 report from Press Ganey.

Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant High Plains Surgery Center earned the American College of Surgeons' Surgical Quality Partner designation, according to a June 3 news release.

Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Panther Creek in Cary, N.C., was re-accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
