Pacific Rim Surgery Center in Washington receives accreditation: 4 key notes

Pacific Rim Outpatient Surgery Center in Washington earned Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accreditation.

Here are four quick notes:

1. The surgery center is 100 percent owned and operated by physicians. It opened in 2000 and now physicians perform more than 5,000 surgeries there annually.

2. The ASC includes five operating rooms and three procedure rooms. There are seven preoperative bays.

3. Specialties at the surgery center include gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, ENT and dental.

4. There are more than 50 physicians credentialed to see patients at the facility.
