Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s Echocardiography Lab receives IAC accreditation

Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s Echocardiography Lab in Fountain Valley, Calif., was granted a three-year accreditation in Echocardiography in the areas of Adult Transthoracic and Adult Transesophageal by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.

IAC grants accreditation to facilities that are found to be providing quality patient care, in compliance with national standards through a comprehensive application process.

“We are extremely proud of our Echocardiography team who worked diligently to achieve this accreditation and outstanding clinical outcomes for our patients,” said Marcia Manker, CEO at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. “Heart disease remains America’s leading killer and it is imperative that we provide our patients immediate access to high quality, life-saving cardiac care.”
