Joint Commission releases 2015 National Patient Safety Goals

The Joint Commission has released its 2015 national patient safety goals for ambulatory organizations, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

The goals include:

  • Identifying patients correctly
  • Using medicines safely
  • Preventing infection
  • Preventing mistakes in safety
