Joint Commission Names Former ASC Administrator as Ambulatory Care Accreditation Program Field Director

The Joint Commission announced the naming of Dana McGrath, RN, MSN, CASC, as the new field director for its Ambulatory Care Accreditation Program.

Ms. McGrath will be responsible for overseeing the education and performance of approximately 50 surveyors in areas including on-site survey, survey technology and standards concepts, according to a news release from The Joint Commission.

 

Ms. McGrath most recently served as a surveyor for AAAHC and was previously administrator of Algonquin Road Surgery Center in Illinois.

 

“We are very excited to have Dana join our team,” said Michael Kulczycki, executive director, Ambulatory Care Accreditation Program, according to the release. “She brings a vast amount of ambulatory experience, which guarantees she will hit the ground running to ensure that our surveyors provide a valuable survey experience.”
