Joint Commission Accredits 2,000th Ambulatory Care Organization

Hopewell Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC, located in Pennington, N.J., is the 2,000th ambulatory care organization to be accredited by The Joint Commission.

The Joint Commission has been accrediting ambulatory care organizations since 1975, using state-of-the-art standards developed in consultation with healthcare experts, providers, measurement experts and patients.

"The staff at Hopewell Surgery Center is deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care to all patients entrusted to us. We are proud that our efforts have been acknowledged by The Joint Commission, and our goals are to continue to maintain the high standards we achieved during the accreditation process," Michael Corsaro, MA, CASC, administrator at Hopewell Surgery Center, said in the news release.
