The accreditation award recognizes the surgery center’s dedication to continuous compliance with the Joint Commission’s state-of-the-art standards. The accreditation is for a three-year period.

The surgery center underwent an on-site survey in October when a surveyor from the Joint Commission evaluated the surgery center for compliance with standards of care specific to the needs of patients, including infection prevention and control, leadership and medication management.
