CORA Sebring earns AAAASF accreditation: 3 things to know

CORA Sebring (Fla.) earned accreditation from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. The clinic offers its clients rehabilitation services.

2. The clinic is one of 14 in the state of Florida. CORA also has clinics in Michigan, North Carolina and South Carolina.

3. To earn accreditation, the center had to be in compliance with all of AAAASF’s accreditation standards including: if a preoperative safety checklist is used for every patient and noted in the patient’s record; if exam rooms are clean and properly marked and several more.
