The release indicated the ASC, a physician-owned center housed next to St. Joseph’s Medical Center, has addressed the findings from CMS surveys in June and September. The ASC will submit a Plan of Correction to CMS based upon the September survey in the next 10 days.

CMS will perform an unannounced survey once it has received and accepted the Plan of Correction.

“We appreciate CMS’ decision to rescind their earlier decision so we can continue to serve our patients,” according to the release. “We are confident that we are in full compliance with all Medicare Conditions of Coverage and we look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate the safe and high quality care we provide our patients everyday.”
