California Hospital Association and State Battle Over Quality Reporting Mandate

The California Hospital Association and the state Department of Public Health are sparring in a lawsuit filed by CHA to halt the implementation of a new reporting mandate that was scheduled to go into effect June 1, 2011, in the state of California, according to a news release from The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
