Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center gets accreditation: 5 key notes

Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Arizona achieved accreditation earlier this year, according to an AAAHC newsletter.

The Perkins Eye Center in Arizona underwent a survey by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and was granted accreditation. Here are five things to know about the center:

1. The center includes LASIK eye surgery, laser cataract surgery, retina eye surgery and implantable contact lenses.

2. The center includes 16 physicians and 26 optometrists.

3. A new director of human resources, Jennifer Gibson, was recently hired on at Dulaney Perkins Eye Center.

4. In addition to providing eye care, the center supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.

5. The center also includes hearing services with the Moore Audiology and Hearing Aid Center.
