AAAHC to host infection prevention session

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care is partnering with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology for a half-day infection prevention program in Las Vegas, Dec. 4.

The program will be taught by Marcia Patrick, NR, CIC, and will cover conducting a risk assessment, safe injection practices, disinfection and sterilization, environmental cleaning, sharps injury prevention and disease transmission protection.
