David Shapiro, MD, is an Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care surveyor. He has served as a surveyor since June 2004.

Additionally, Dr. Shapiro is a self-employed anesthesiologist, a Association of periOperative Registered Nurses member and a risk manager for Red Hills Surgical Center.

Dr. Shapiro earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati.

He is an American Institute for Healthcare Quality and an American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians fellow.
