AAAHC releases obesity management patient safety toolkit

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care has released a toolkit for obesity management, Disease Management: Obesity in Adults.

The tool is intended to empower physicians to discuss obesity management with their patients and includes a discussion of treatment options, as well as potential risks and benefits of weight loss, additional resources and a flowchart for obesity management adapted from the National Institutes of Health
