AAAHC leader to know: Therese Poland

Therese Poland, RN, BSN, MSN, is the acting president and CEO of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

She began her tenure at AAAHC in January 2016, but has had a long career in healthcare. She was most recently a quality and certification specialist with the American Osteopathic Association.

Ms. Poland earned her RN degree from Australia-based Avondale College. She completed a health policy fellowship at Athens-based Ohio University and earned her masters in nursing from Australia-based Western Sydney University.
