AAAHC-accredited center to know: Outpatient Surgery Center at TGH Brandon Healthplex

The Tampa, Fla.-based Outpatient Surgery Center at TGH Brandon Healthplex achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Here are three things to know:

1. The Outpatient Surgery Center at TGH Brandon Healthplex is Tampa General Hospital’s first off-site ASC.

2. The center is located on the second floor at the TGH Brandon Healthplex and has six operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, 24 preoperative and postoperative bays and a 13-bed post-anesthesia care unit.

3. The center serves both adults and children. Specialties at the center include gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, hand microsurgery, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, urology, spine and neurosurgery and ophthalmology, among others.
