AAAHC-accredited center to know: Flint Hills Heart, Vascular and Vein Clinic

Manhattan, Kan.-based Flint Hills Heart, Vascular and Vein Clinic achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Here are four things to know about the clinic:

1. The clinic provides diagnosis and treatment of a variety of arterial, venuous and cardiac disorders, along with the healing of wounds associated with these disorders. The clinic is dedicated to amputation prevention.

2. Raymond Dattilo, MD, is board certified in interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine and is certified in wound care. He is on the faculty of several international cardiovascular disease conferences and is nationally renowned in peripheral arterial disease treatment, amputation prevention and limb salvage. He is published on the subject of PAD therapy.

3. Many of the clinic's patients are diabetics, who are at the greatest risk of limb loss.

4.The advanced wound clinic has the region's only hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
