AAAASF appoints ED, elects new board officers

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Centers has elected new board members and officers and has hired a new executive director.

President: Foad Nahai, MD
President-elect: David C. Watts, MD
Secretary-treasurer: Lawrence S. Reed, MD
Vice president of external relations: Darrell Ranum
Vice president of standards: Hector Vila Jr., MD
Vice President of Education: Gary M Brownstein, MD

The new members-at-large are Dr. Paul J. LoVerme of Verona, New Jersey, and Dr. William B. Rosenblatt of New York.

The board appointed Theresa Griffin-Rossi executive director.
