AAAASF accredits 4 new facilities in Illinois

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities accredited four Illinois facilities.

The four facilities include:

1. The Aesthetic Institute of Chicago SC

2. Champion Fitness in Morris

3. Rehabilitation Professionals doing business as The Colonnade Senior Living in O’Fallon

4. Accredited Ambulatory Care in Chicago

The inspectors examine several aspects of the surgery center, including the operating room environment, general environment, recovery room policies and procedures, medication, medical records, personnel and anesthesia.
