2. 96 percent of the patients reported better vision after surgery
3. 98 percent of the patients said they were comfortable during and after surgery
4. 96 percent were able to return to normal activity within one week of surgery
5. There is expected to be 38 million Americans who suffer from cataracts by 2030
“The data clearly shows that patients find value in cataract surgery and are generally very pleased with the outcomes of the procedure,” said Naomi Kuznets, PhD, vice president and senior director for the AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement.
