2. Dr. Barker is a member of Masimo’s board of directors, chairman of its scientific advisory board and its chief science officer.

3. He served as anesthesiology chair at the University of Arizona in Tucson for 18 years.

4. He is a past president of the Society for Technology in Anesthesia and previously served as section editor for technology for Anesthesia & Analgesia.
