Born and raised in Sweden, Dr. Koritz graduated from the University of Zurich Medical School in Switzerland and completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He practiced in Norway for two years.
Dr. Koritz’s private pain management practice had locations in Halifax, Canada; Moncton, Canada; and Peterborough, Canada. He also established an office in Buffalo, N.Y. before retiring in 2013.
Dr. Koritz was an American Academy of Pain Management diplomatdiplomat, American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians fellow and American Academy of Pain Medicine fellow. He served as a New York State Institute of Massage advisory board member. He was also in Grand Island Rotary Club.
Dr. Koritz is survived by his wife, his daughter and his brother.
