FDA: Propofol Drug Shortage Resolved

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration officially removed propofol from its list of drugs with a supply shortage, according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

The drug, commonly used as an ambulatory anesthetic, is available but may take time to move through the supply chain to healthcare facilities, the FDA said in its report.
