Deerfield, Ill.-based Baxter Health is expanding their anesthesiology coverage with the hiring of Rosa Lopez-Rincon, MD, reported KTLO.com Sept. 9.

The average annual earnings among certified registered nurse anesthetists can vary by up to $56,330 depending on the state one practices in, according to data from the latest employment survey from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The highest-earning anesthesiologists in San Diego earn $375,230 more than the national average for the role, according to Medscape's Physician Salary Explorer tool.
