NAPA extends services to 2 Maryland hospitals — 3 details

North American Partners in Anesthesia inked a deal to provide anesthesia services for two facilities affiliated with Cheverly-based University of Maryland Capital Region Health.

Three things to know:

1. Effective July 6, Melville, N.Y.-based NAPA extended services to UM Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly and UM Laurel (Md.) Medical Center.

2. At both locations, a team of about nine anesthesiologists and nearly 15 certified registered nurse anesthetists from NAPA will provide anesthesia services for labor and delivery, trauma, and scheduled operating room cases.

3. The team will be led by NAPA’s anesthesia chiefs, Christina Mack, MD, and Kaia Finney, CRNA, with additional support from local and regional NAPA leadership.
